We finally did it!

The girl and I have been talking about creating a magazine for basically an entire year but somehow we only managed to create the covers and put them up on the wall. But then we celebrated my first year with the girl on Jones Day with a trip to Green Bay, Wisconsin with the whole team, and when we came home, we were inspired to make it a reality.

So for a whole month we worked really hard after the girl got home from her job and on weekends, and then we sent our first issue to the printer. We weren’t sure how it was going to turn out so we all were kind of holding our breath!

It took a few weeks to get printed and then one night just before we went to bed the girl saw on her phone that it had been delivered. She was like, “Where? I didn’t see it outside the door.” So she went out in the hallway and found the box of magazines in front of her neighbor’s door.

We opened it right away and all gathered around to see how it turned out. Everyone was like, “Jones, it’s amazing!” and I was like, “The photos turned out great!” We all went to bed that night like, “Squeeeee!”

So now our magazine, called Jones’ Journal, is real and you can actually buy a copy and we’ll send it to you! We sent issue two to the printer already and we’re starting to plan issue three!
