A 9-inch plushie takes on American life

Discovered

Yesterday was the 4th of July or Independence Day as some people call it, and I had a completely wild adventure after the girl got done taking pictures of a parade for her job.

We met up with her friend and went to Big Grove Brewery but this time we went to a different one in Cedar Rapids that we haven’t been to before.

As soon as we went inside the doors, people ran up to us and wanted to meet me and pose for photos. I was so surprised because sometimes it takes a while for people to notice me.

This is Hannah and she goes on adventures with a shark companion she told us about. I thought that was so neat!

Everyone wanted to make sure I met Andrew because he was wearing almost the same outfit as me!

Everyone also wanted me to meet Dalles Jacobus who wrote a famous song called “We Wave” and is a singer/songwriter who used to be a University of Iowa football player. He loves Neighborhood beer too!

The Cedar Rapids Big Grove is really cool and I enjoyed eating fries and a pretzel there.

For the holiday I really wanted to see the Quad Cities River Bandits play baseball but it was an away game.

But it worked out great because they were playing the Cedar Rapids Kernals, so that is why we went to Cedar Rapids.

We sat on the first base line at Veterans Memorial Stadium and that felt really different from watching the Bandits play at home.

We met a lot nice people and I got to try a cinnamon sugar soft pretzel that I really liked.

There was no giveaway at this game but when it was over there were fireworks!

I had a really good day and I enjoyed everything about it. Happy 4th of July!
