This is me when I first wake up in the morning. Isn’t that funny?

Here’s something else funny: the girl has hardly been home this week because she’s been working like mad and that has made her unhappy. But she really wanted me to have something new to wear for the weekend, so she tried to make me a new jacket.

She ended up sewing in one of the sleeves inside out, so you could see the seam, and the fluffy side of the fleece was on the inside instead of the outside.

She had me try it on because she thought maybe it wouldn’t be obvious, but it was! I couldn’t put my arm down because the sleeve was too tight! She had to pull out all the thread, reverse the sleeve, and sew it in again.

It looks and feels perfect now. I picked out some mushroom appliques to go with the purple fleece, but they didn’t look right once the jacket was finished, so we left them off and I put my Dutch flour pin on instead. I really like how this look turned out.

Yesterday was my 1-month anniversary of living with the girl. She said we needed to celebrate and asked me if I would like to have cake or ice cream. I have never tried cake before, so I chose ice cream because I know I love that.

I have had a wonderful month.

The girl put photos up from our adventures in her home office. The other Fugglers used to be on shelves in this spot, but they were relocated. The little ones now have an apartment in the closet, and a couple of the bigger ones found other homes. Munch Munch is still here, and so are a couple other guys we’re good friends with.

Today we were surprised that my business cards arrived. Aren’t they cool? They have my name on them and tell people how to find my blog. I’m so excited to start handing them out! People have been asking about my adventures so I kind of need them.

This is me and the girl. We have had such a fun month together, and the girl says she has a lot of other adventures in mind for us. I can’t wait!
