For three days this week I’ve been left home alone while the girl went to work. I thought she might take me along one day, but she said she has a coworker who might put me up on the ceiling fan while she isn’t looking, so I haven’t gone along yet.
Amusing myself at home hasn’t been bad. While outdoors it is gloomy and rainy, I’ve huddled in a blanket on the couch watching a TV series called “Ted Lasso” and enjoyed a lot of trail mix.

One day this house centipede showed up and wandered around on the living room wall. I didn’t know if I should be afraid or not, but he didn’t try to come near me, so it seems like he’s okay. I asked Munch Munch about it and he said not to worry, that animal only comes out in the dark and runs away if you try to touch it.
Today the girl worked from home, and it was nice to have her around. In the middle of the day she took me out for a cheeseburger and fries, and then we took a nature walk. We found this snail crawling along with its tentacles out, but when I crouched down to have my picture taken with it, I tripped and fell on top of it, and the tentacles went back inside the shell.

I still got my picture with it, even though it didn’t turn out how I hoped since I’m on the ground laughing and it’s playing dead.

We didn’t have much time to be out since the girl had to go back to work, but we did stop at the Hobby Lobby for a few minutes. When we came across this backpack, we both knew it was perfect for me, so we bought it and took it home.

It’s Squishmallows, which I think are so cute, especially since one looks like fries, one of my favorite foods so far. The girl says I’m going to need this when we travel this summer. I can’t wait to use it.
