Would you believe I am actually five blogs behind? Five!

At the end of August I went to a place called Calyx Creek Lavender & Lodging in Oxford, Iowa.

Remember how I went to the Cedar Rapids Farmers Market a few weeks ago and the girl bought some lavender stuff, like a scone mix for me to make? Well, she bought some tea from that same booth that she really liked so we decided to visit the farm to get more.

The farm was awesome! The lavender plants were blooming outside, and inside the event space and gift shop it smelled incredible!

I posed for a photo in the selfie spot and the girl and I shared some lavender lemonade and a piece of blueberry lavender cake. It was so good!

We enjoyed being there so much we didn’t want to leave right away, so we sat outside and gazed at the rolling hills of plants. I felt very posh and fancy.

We bought a bag of lavender brownie mix while we were there and last week I baked the treats. They were so good the girl says we have to go back again as soon as possible.

That was adventure #1 that I had to catch up on. Just wait, there is a lot more I’ve been doing this month!
